A public art project promoting hardy gardening for the city. Guerrilla Gardeners sees the walls, pavements, lamp posts and all elements of street scenery as a potential garden, empowering citizens with a way to brighten their mundane surroundings.

In applying graffiti and fly posting to the traditionally sedate practice of gardening we have created a way to combat the harshness of the urban environment. Unlike real flowersm our stickers and stencils never die. Guerrillas are free to create their own gardens in the way that graffiti artists tag their territory, building them up over time.
