Non-profit organization dedicated to combatting Montreal's absurd anti-street food laws.
The GSFC believes that street food is an important component of any real city, adding texture and character to the street life of the city, expanding the city's collective palate, and providing a vital entry-level (and ideally anti-corporate) business opportunity for those with limited means.
We've staged three events that sought to beautify the city (with barbecue) while drawing attention to Montreal's ongoing ban on street food.
This was event #2 and it took place in an alleyway in Mile End. It was accompanied by the sounds of reggae music coming from an underground record store.

What is the latest regarding the street food situation?
I would love to set up a vendor somewhere in town to sell street food. I would also like to become involved in the mission.
Thanks,
Andrew Gray
