As part of the Sharjah Biennial, artist Maider López painted the lines of a soccer field red in a public square of Sharjah, adding goals on either end. Because pre-existing features such as benches and streetlamps were not altered, the square became a strange new site for football matches where spectators relaxed on benches inside the pitch at all hours. The project suggests a model for easy and relaxed integration of different activities. Maider López works on interrupting conventional space and architecture.

Very inspirational. Some imagination and a can of paint transformed this space. Its simple, honest, useful and fun. Genius.

Leave it to locals to make a soccer field out of anything i remember playing in the middle of an intersection late one night while a lot of cars were driving through town at a crawling pace. I'm surprised the cops didn't come while we played football. It's not like were on anabolic steroids so we wouldn't have cared if they said to stop playing
It would be hard for the players to actually play a game on that field with the light poles in the middle of the court. I'm kidding, of course...

What a change in the ground field of a soccer, ground is looking quite attractive after being painted, so he just initiate the work on a model soccer ground; may be in couple of years, we will see different style of soccer grounds. As technology is changing the real face of whole world, internet services(email, online chat, web development; cheap web hosting services), air space and some other modern sciences are playing their roles to change the real world in modulated form.
