The Sound Farm proposes to turn a parking garage into a musical instrument. As the wind blows across the surface of the open-air structure, the vertical field of pinwheels strike tiny metal fins, creating a constantly-changing aural landscape. The parking garage becomes an enormous resonance chamber, echoing the music down the narrow streets of lower Manhattan.
