I built a fourteen foot tall tree out of plywood and planted it outside in the Winter. In the Spring, I chopped it down and milled it back into a sheet of plywood, which I then returned to Home Depot in the Summer, in exchange for a paper receipt.

Genius!!!
Excellent! Genius!!!
Not!
What are you saying? Waste material and energy? Cut down trees? Recycle? What?
What a total waste of material and energy!! Art for art's sake, and nothing more.
This tree was not fabricated from a single sheet of 2' x 4' plywood, and I find it highly unlike that your "recovered" plywood was able to be returned in anything other than "damaged" or "resalable" condition.
Completely pointless!
